It’s Eulachon Time In The Skeena And This Guy Captured It With His Drone

The footage is from near Prince Rupert.

Stuff people in the Skeena do: get excited about the eulachon run.

Yep, it’s that time of year again, and local drone operator Rob Matthews was on the scene, capturing footage of people fishing for eulachon near Prince Rupert.

It’s hard to believe another year has passed.

It seems like just yesterday, actually, that The Skeena posted this awesome set of videos from Cole Morven, one showing a Nisga’a Fishery Crew taking in a big haul of eulachon.

And this gem, which shows how eulachon grease is processed.
