Skeena Xmas Present: Gardening Seeds That Raise Money For Shames Mountain

It’s never too early to start planning your garden.

Yes, we know it’s dark, cold and snowy right now. But think about how happy you’ll be in the spring if you stock up now on some awesome gardening supplies from Westcoast Seeds.

The B.C. company is partnering with Shames Mountain Ski and Snowboard Club for a fundraiser that runs until January 25–although personally we think buying B.C. seeds to support a local non-profit sports club is a pretty awesome Skeena Xmas gift.

“Through this fundraiser our club gets 40% of the sales proceeds and shipping is free,” Shames Mountain wrote recently on its Facebook. “We are raising funds for our club trailer move and repairs in 2021, Covid has made it hard to fundraise by our usual raffles so we are excited to go to an online fundraiser of a quality product.”

“Done,” one commenter wrote. “Now the unbearable wait for spring.”
