‘Look At The Size Of That!’: Watch New Fishing Techniques On The Skeena

‘Good looking fly.’

Every year two fly fishermen named Don and Dale head to one of their favorite spots: the Skeena River. They help host the show Sport Fishing on the Fly and the latest episode features them trying out new flies and techniques for Skeena salmon.

“Look at the size of that,” one of them exclaims during the new episode, which was posted recently. “The thing about fishing the Skeena, is you never know when the fish are gonna push through.”

Sport Fishing on the Fly “is the longest running Fly Fishing show airing across North America on national TV networks,” its YouTube page reads. “Now in its 26th season of filming, SFOTF continues to highlight new fly fishing locations, show new fly fishing techniques, and they tie a new fly on most shows.”

That was certainly the case on its latest Skeena episode, where “Don ties the Judas Priest Enticer On the Bench.” This caused one viewer to weigh in: “Good looking fly Don.”
