This Skeena Local Won A Smithers Photo Contest. Here’s A Video Of What Happened Next

We had such an amazing day.’

Earlier this summer, a Skeena local named Jackie entered a photo contest hosted by Tourism Smithers.

To her delight, her photo of a heart-shaped rock at Crater Lake was selected as a winner.

Her prize was a Float Trip down the Bulkley River with Frontier Experience and she decided to document the day on YouTube.

“We had such an amazing day and highly recommend this trip – even for locals like us!” she explains. “We saw so many new areas and the food, wow, it was just amazing!”

Jackie runs Sew Bright Creations, which includes a popular Instagram account where she shares DIY and home improvement tips, as well as handmade baby and kids goods.

The cherry on top of the whole experience was that during the float trip she found some more heart-shaped rocks, which, she says, “was extra fun.”
