Sometimes it can be hard to get a good night’s rest.
But the next time you’re tossing and turning because of too much noise keeping you awake, or too much quiet, try putting on this recording of the Skeena River that was taken outside of Hazelton earlier this summer.
“Living by the Skeena River has shown me that it is a mighty and beautiful, natural pink noise machine,” explains Moonlit Dreams, the genius who just uploaded 11 hours of water audio. “Enjoy the soothing sounds of sleeping by the river, without the bugs!”
According to science, putting this on at night might actually help you nod off.
“Researchers are still teasing out answers to exactly why and how sound machines help you sleep, but some studies have shown positive results,” reads an article on Everyday Health. “In a study published in May 2013 in the journal Neuron, pink noise helped improve deep sleep versus no noise.”
